| I have worked for many years in clay, including about twenty five years as a full time potter, making primarily pots for the home and garden. In 2005, I began working with cement - basically handbuilding with it as I would have with clay. I was amazed to find it so full of potential, particularly in relationship to size, texture, and strength. I continue to find work with cement challenging and rewarding. My work with clay, fabrics, natural fibers, go urds and beads, along with cement, contribute to endless experimentations and exciting possibilities. |
